Its been a while that the dominant guild (current Categoria 5, with more than 300 players) is owning all the best hunts and controlling the access to the best bosses.
Its true that part of the game is dealing with wars and disputes between guilds for territories and so on. But its gone too far at this point. I myself had few friends that leave the server due to this. No to mention some runtime decisions made by the staff in ignore (actually use double standards) reports of trap coming neutral players about the dominant guild. What is weird, cuz in other moments, the same situations lead to ban or ban-threat when non-dominant guild members were the authors. But lets leave it behind.
Here are a few suggestions to improve the balance of power:
1 - Guild Size Soft Cap with Diminishing Returns. It
doesnt hard cap guilds, but make big guilds suffer light penalties (you want to have big group? ok, but you gonna pay for this) :
1.1 - exp/loot rate slightly decreased per member over 100. or stablish ranges. guild up to 50 = ok; 50 to 75 = -x%; 75 to 100... so on.
1.2 - “guild power” tax where loot is slightly reduced
1.3 - visualized in guild UI as “Overpopulated Guild: -X% bonus”
1.4 - and for prevent temporary small guilds, implement cooldown to players enter and leave guilds. Maybe 5 days would do the job.
incentivizes splitting up without directly punishing. You could start with small rates. For example: Guild with 51 members? Less 5% loot/exp to the members. 76/ less 10%... I think you got the point.
2 - Bounty/Outlaw System for Big Guilds.
2.1 - players can place bounties on dominant guild players (if the guild has more than 100 members)
2.2 - kills grant gold/rewards, promote PvP against top dogs
2.3 - maybe add outlaw titles or visuals for hunted players.
The thread is already big enough. But tell me your thoughts if you guys think it make sense and if its feasible.
